City Councils
Helping you reach operational, sustainability, and resiliency targets.
The switch to clean energy has started with vigour in many parts of the world. In the US, new regulations, renewable energy goals and changing mindset have set the ball rolling.
For instance, âCalifornia enacted its CES in 2018, which requires the stateâs utilities to generate 100% clean electricity by 2045. Since 2018, 15 states, two territories, and Washington, D.C., have passed legislation to increase or expand their renewable or clean energy targets.â (source: https://www.ncsl.org/research). In addition, States like California, Colorado and Maine have benchmarked 2045-50 as the year by which they will go 100% green. These are tall tasks. American Planning Association has laid out goals for local communities and government agencies to work towards. All these point towards the fact that the time to act is now. We at Gridscape are prepared.
Our team of experts are ready to work closely with you to help meet the clean energy goals of your city. From deployment to operations to maintenance, our experience in solar microgrids goes back a decade.
âEven when the Bay Areaâs electrical grid falters, three Fremont fire stations remain a sturdy lifeline to surrounding homes, schools and businesses.â
Thatâs from our Fremont fire stations projects. And this is what Rachel DiFranco, Fremontâs Sustainability Manager has to say about it, âIt gives us a sense of security and resiliency. We can operate without having to worry about the grid going out.â This is just one instance.
There are many successful green projects that we are rather proud of. Like the one for San Pasqual Band of Mission Indian (Tribal Government), Valley Center CA, the Sacramento Municipal Utility District project and the Willowbrook Low Income Housing project.
In terms of numbers, we have clocked close to 10,000 KW of renewable solar energy. And the clock, as they say, is ticking.
At Gridscape, we are helping more and more communities and cities meet their green energy goals. We would be more than happy to partner you in this journey towards clean energy.
